“Look up!  Listen! Be aware of your surroundings. Don’t walk around staring down at your phone!”

These are just a few of the words that resonated during our self-defense and combat training with Krav Maga expert Amir Perets and Seal Team 6 Dev Operator + Founder of Dynamis Alliance, Dom Raso.  Burn To Remember was the our March charity as we gear up for Run To Remember on Sunday, April 7 beginning at Century City. The course takes you through the iconic streets of Beverly Hills ending behind the scenes at Fox Studios.

Burn 60 is proud to be the lead sponsor in the 4th annual Run To Remember race, paying tribute to fallen first responders and military. Thank you to the Burn Family who participated in Burn To Remember. We were joined by 25 kids from Watts who are part of our 10K with a Cop Program. 10K with a Cop helps build a relationship between law enforcement and the community, teaching kids the importance of goal setting and self-discipline. Our program is now in cities across America helping children understand the importance of physical activity. Empowering them with confidence, dedication, and discipline that will help them grow to be productive citizens. Everyone learned life-saving skills and tactics to protect themselves from threats in everyday life. Be warned- anything can happen to anyone at any time.

Thanks to our generous supporters and participants, we raised $25,000 allowing us to provide 500 race registration fees to our local 10K with a Cop kids and their police mentors.

At Burn 60, we believe every day is an opportunity to improve the lives around us.  That’s why we have an ongoing philanthropic program called Burn for Good which raises funds and awareness for causes close to our hearts each month of the year.

Join Us! There is still time to become part of the Burn 60 team and participate in the 5k, 10k or ½ Marathon run. Run To Remember is filled with emotion, meaning, and gratitude. Last year, we had over 5,500 participants running with a purpose. Over 2,000 officers and first responders from across the globe participated to honor their family, friends and partners who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.

Give Back! If you couldn’t attend, but want to make a contribution to support the men and women who are on the line protecting us every day click here. Every dollar makes a difference.

Love, Sweat + Cheers,

Janet
