Burn 60 and Kasseem are going to Haiti
At Burn 60, we believe every day is an opportunity to better the lives of those around us - and that means supporting our Burn Family and their causes.
In 2010, a 7.0 Earthquake hit Haiti devastating over 3 million people, nearly one third of the country’s population. Long time client, Kasseem alongside Schiller Erlius, originally from Haiti, asked Burn to help support the Bati School – his personal passion back home. And how do say no to Kasseem?
CLASSES FOR HAITI
From September 10-18, Burn 60 will donate a percentage of the proceeds from ALL 15 of Kasseem’s classes in both studios to raise funds for the Bati School. On September 20th, Kasseem will hand deliver our contribution when he visits the Bati school in person (Yep….Kasseem is going to Haiti from Sept 20-25….plan accordingly)!
The BATI School allows Ayitian children to dream of a new future and enriches the local community providing access to free education. Located on 50 acres in the mountains above the coastal town of St. Michel, Haiti, they provide free, localized education for students from Preschool to 2nd grade by building a sustainable model for education through the sale of organic agriculture grown on the surrounding land.
They opened with 65 students in 2017 and have 125 students enrolled this school year. Their goal is to add a grade/class each year to reach K-12.
How can you help reach our goal of $3000?
Every dollar counts. Please make your own personal contribution to Kasseem's Go Fund Me Page
